Sometimes I think we have too many choices in the world. Food, cigarettes, beer, musical instruments. Back in the 70's you had pretty much a Precision bass, a Jazz bass, A Telecaster bass, a Mustang and Musicmaster. That was it. Pick your color and off you go. Life was simpler, and we were content with what we had. Now you can spend days, weeks or months foaming at the mouth, trying to figure out which Precision bass you want. Nothing wrong with that I guess, but it seems to be too much of a distraction sometimes to me anyway. Its like TV. Used to have three channels and it was good enough and you may spend an hour or two watching it. Now six or eight hours is not unusual for some, while picking up the smartphone during commercials. Or spending hours on talkbass. Like I do. OK, enough ranting! Have a good night everyone!
