Wilcock Basses - Where's the Love???

My long-awaited Mullarkey is being held in Memphis by customs. This is my 2nd import in 2 months that FedEx has f***d up. Viv provided the documentation they claim is missing. Pissed!! The last one was a Fender Japan that was flagged by customs, and when released, Fedex lost the package. I got refunded but the seller is still waiting on settlement from Fedex.

Oh dude. Waking f'ing nightmare!!! Hopefully Viv can talk some sense into those poor dumb bastards. Fingers crossed for you man.

Been looking for a mullarkey for a while. I was emailing back and forth for the walnut one that they had recently and the email communication was really delayed from the store and I called them after waiting for a reply for a day and they had just sold it to a local buyer… I was so bummed out!

From the sound of it not many are reselling and that is a great thing. BUT!!! Please join me on list if of "if anyone is selling! Please let me know". Haha.

Arrived a few weeks back but forgot to post here:

Hello, guys. Has anyone had a chance to play both Wilcock Mullarkey and Bisonic? Both seem so attractive. Could anyone compare them, soundwise?

halfwound121, how do you like your Mullarkey? How do you fell about the neck profile?

Thanks!
Sorry I missed your questions. It's a favorite for so many reasons. Looks, tone, playability, balance, build quality, name it. Honestly, I would have preferred a slimmer neck profile and nut, but after a couple minutes into playing it I don't give it another thought. Feels completely natural. I have other short scales with similar profiles, such as my G&L Fallout and Serek, and I love playing them as well. I'm used to a 1.5" nut, but I can manage somewhat larger ones on short and medium scale necks.
