So I just got lucky and got an Ashdown ABM EVO 900 for a fantastic price since the line was being cleared out but unfortunately when I got the head that is all that was in the box. Now I have the Speakon cable from when I had an SVT 4 Pro and I know its wired differently, would it be a problem to use with my Ashdown? I want to try it but I don't want to find out it shouldn't be used with it the hard way..

You won't hurt anything if it's wired wrong; you just won't hear anything either. Find out the plug/wiring arrangement that is needed for the Ashdown, and re-wire the plug if necessary. All you need is a screwdriver--no soldering.

You can't bridge the Ashdown so you could just use a regular speaker cable in either side into a 4 ohm load. it should be wired to +1 and -1 on a speakon.
