I need to make more time for skiing.. Then maybe I'll get psyched about snow.. So far this winter, not so good.. my pipes almost froze & some idiot drove thru our bushes.. Maybe I need a gig on a caribbean island..

Winter blows..

Yeah it sure does. It's only 70 degrees today. Good thing I'm going to Hawaii on Friday.

Here is is a wind chill of about 0 Fahrenheit and this is the third day in a row that we have been snowed in. I haven't worked since Friday.

one of the beautiful things about this country is that you can move. For example, 9 years ago i decided i had enough of west virginia so 2 months later i was living in south carolina...viola! no more winter! short sleeve shirts on christmas!
no snowboarding for me, though people have tried to get me to convert.. actually tried it once a few years back when the band I was in did a ski resort run.. spent the whole day on my butt
no thanks.. I don't get out on slopes enough to warrant wasting any more days trying to surf down a mountain when skis work just fine..

Understood, but South Carolina is a bad example.. you should have said California or at least Arizona
I've been to South of the Border.. it ain't so cool.. well maybe parts.. 
I don't mind winter. We got 6" of snow and ice this past weekend and another 6" of snow last night. On talk radio they were coming up with reasons to like the snow and Wisconsin Winters. Some of the callers came up with:

well, the same could be said for those of us who like winter, yet sit in heated buses,subways, houses, cars, offices, etc....
that's why autumn is the best! yay autumn!
not me. car windows down come summer time. i dont use a/c at all in the car. we do cut in on in the house due to my daughters allergies. i am usually the only one outside on a hot summer day in this neighborhood. gotta keep my cars lookin good. never do i ever see any kids outside. when i was a young un it sucked to come inside.
