On to neck shaping. Pretty happy with how it turned out

Close up of the heel. Should have easy access to the last feet.

Got the pickup cavities routed.

Decided to keep the bridge in traditional P configuration, the D and G side is 2" from the string saddles.

Well okay, I guess I can allow it. Since it’s 2”.

Edit: Major points for even putting a P at the bridge, orientation notwithstanding!

Buisy day Today. Grain filler went on late last night, got that sanded down this morning then went straight to final sanding (down to 600 grit). A couple hours of scrutiny under bright light and touching up here and there and I was satisfied enough to go ahead and get the first coat of oil on.

Tung oil really brought all the walnutty goodness

Taking a break from the garage today. Printed up a decal sheet this morning and shot it with testers decal sealer. I'll let that cure overnight and put them on in the morning. Then let them dry all day and get another coat of oil on in the evening.

I thought so too but it's just the font, it is a lower case f
