Downside, my recording system (Mackie Onyx) isn't supported past win 7, so if I want a new computer, I'll need to get a new recording interface.

I elected to build a different neck for this instrument. Nothing wrong with the last one, and it will be used in a different build.
So in the pic you see quite a few things.
1) The Katalox booked matched FB was almost used for this. I like it but the color match isn't quite there.
2) The new neck is in clamps as I am gluing down the FB, which is another piec e of Malaysian Ebony
3) Alot of us use wax paper when doing glue up. I like using Waxtex as it yields more of a vintage tone
