Well, you can slosh some truck bed liner on it to cover up all that distracting grain.

LOL, it's terrible, isn't it? Having said that, truck bed liner may be a cool treatment on an instrument.

Once upon a time, yes. Although this is wholly a technology joke. It exploits how Unicode (the means by which our computers store, interpret and display characters and symbols for most languages) manages diacriticals and other symbol modifiers -- which is actually pretty neat but kind of complicated to get into here.Whoa! That is pretty amazing! Do you do graphic design as a profession?

Well gang, I've made a great run at trying to finish this build. I made a good amount of progress today and assuming that nothing catastrophic happens, I should wrap it up tomorrow.
Today's progress was, however, interrupted by a family gathering... dang families anyhow...
But, I got the wiring harness completed and installed.
Tuners installed.
Here's how I handled grounding the individual bridges...
I couldn't recall exactly where I had routed the ground wire channel, so I stuck a heavy wire in there and used some little magnets to locate it for me. I didn't want to dowse for it... might leave footprints.
Then I drill access holes, and pulled loops up with a little hook that I made from the heavy wire. I had to remove the black coating from the bottom of the bridges, but I have continuity.
I have to string it up, complete the setup, take some pictures, record some sound (maybe) and get it posted before I completely run out of time. Nothing like coming down to the wire.
