Winter Build Off 2022 - Get Ready

A few weeks ago in this thread, I said I wasn't sure I would participate in the Buildoff because-
Some cosmetic stuff still needs doing, but I'm indecisive about that, so for now I'll just play the thing. Later I'll decide what else I want to do with it.
This means (...drum roll...) I'm now officially entering the Winter Buildoff. I have a plan, and I've just given myself permission to buy things for it.
A small problem is I don't have is a workshop. I have a plan for that too, but I don't know how soon it will happen. That depends on things outside my control. Until then I'll just hope for gentle winter weather, so I can make most of my sawdust in the back yard.
Well, that bass is now fully functional. It sounds bassy, both acoustically and amplified. Here it is:

I was hoping for a mild fall/winter here and some free time on the weekends to prep. Neither is working out in my favor....
I have some leftover tuners and nuts, and a 1'x2' work table that has to hold a lamp and a giraffe. So I think I'm solid.
All set, just waiting till I can start...
I still have no clue. I'll make something up at the last minute.
Correction - Experience indicates that I'll make something up as I go along.
On the theme of rebirth I recently pickup a Carvin LB75 that will need to be sawn lengthwise and a new neck center section installed (a significant amount of work). Some other changes will occur as well. Would this fit the build off theme? To elaborate someone had drilled and pegged about seven holes in the fretboard and four in the back of the neck. If I change this to the Carvin typical five piece neck with a center of walnut/maple/walnut it will stay somewhat original and I can replace the truss rod and fretboard as well as overlay the headstock to match the koa body.

I've got my design finished, in my head at least, and most of the parts on their way. This is the most prepared I've ever been.
My problem is already having the build plan mostly decided on and then having 2 months of every other day, something pops up and I'm wandering off to, -how do I incorporate this piece of wood, or these old bicycle parts I just found- land.
If nothing else, this will be a rebirth of myself, in learning how to stay focused.

Sounds perfect for the Partial Build category, which I think is what I'm entering as well this year.
Looking forward to that Carvin rebuild, it sounds like a plan. Plus I want to see more of "The Human CNC" in action.
Just emphasizing these words to enhance the terror of other entrants.
Have you guys seen what dwizum makes? 
@instrumentalist that looks like a great spot to work on the dent on the left side of your head. Since you already have the giraffe, a pool noodle on that corner doesn't seem like a bridge too far.
