Winter Build Off 2022 - The PeavEsh StinGer

I knew I was missing something with the electronics. I wasn't able to fine all the pots I wanted in 16mm, which is what I planned on using with the control cavity cutouts. The bass and volume are 24mm. And dont fit in the 1-1/4" recesses I made.

Time to make some Dremel tool-powered adjustments

This is my submission in the Partial Build category for the 2022 WBO.

It is the PeavEsh StinGer.
(Because it's an Esh Stinger-inspired body with a Peavey GV neck...)

Specifications:
Body: Multi-piece Ash with an Alder core

Neck: 35" scale carbon fiber shell with Pau Ferro fretboard. 21 frets, Luminlay side markers. The tuners are Gotoh GB707 in black. The string tree was handmade.

Strings: Daddario EXL170-SL5

Pickups: EMG MM5TW

Controls: Volume, Treble (pull for coil tap), Bass. The preamp is the Uncle Fluffy 2-band from Passingwind Electronics. Its running at 18V and a Gotoh BB-04W battery box was used.

Bridge: Peavey factory GV, which is an aluminum copy of a Hipshot A-style.
Knobs: Kilo International aluminum in matte black.
Straplocks: Schaller in black

Finish: VHT Chassis and roll bar paint, satin black

Weight: 11lbs 13oz. It's a little neck heavy when seated, but balances well with my Gruvgear Neo 4"

Is the “finish” actually finished? (y/n) yes.
