Yes, this track shows off the sound of the bass well. And your vocals are nice too!

The bass has a good acoustic-bass type attack curve and percussiveness. You can clearly hear it, even through the pickup. I had wondered if the top was going to be too stiff, and that it might be too electric-sounding. But you got it working. Your guesswork on the top structure came out right. The top is working and doing its job.

My only recommendation is that, in the mix, you should lower the keyboards and bring up the vocal track.

Thanks! Yes, my Husband says the same thing about the mix, that the vocals should be louder. For some reason, I often bury my vocals, probably because I'm always unsure about them.
