I would change the "cherry build" to "one type of wood", and none of this 65% stuff like the walnut build off, like 95%. Not everyone is going to be able to get cherry.

In the "Many wood" category, there should be a minimal number of woods that need to be used, and it should be a large number, like 15 or something.

4 = airspace
8 = collaboration
11 = re-build
21 = minimalist
23 = no wood (BTW, for 15 and 20, does "metal" mean construction materials or music genre)

Not wanting to be the skunk at the garden party, but I would politely decline building something I wouldn't want to play. (coming from the guy that plays a Bass VI and a cigar box guitar:wacky:)

1st place - Air Space

I think this is a good list!

Yes, this was mentioned in years past. I think this would be a really good thing to do, but it may get confusing to keep the 2 straight.

Maaaaayyyybe, we precede/follow this years build off with a "Finish a Stalled build". I'm leaning towards following

Yeah, the 65% thing didn't work really well, and yes to all 1 wood. At some time it would be good to go back and revamp the list a bit because I really like the all 1 wood as well and see if our opinions have changed

I'd go with following. Kind of like summer reruns.

On the 1 wood idea, make an exception for the fretboard?

Yes, this would be good for build off stragglers. I'm thinking it doesn't necessarily need to be part of a build off either. Just something started here in LC
