I'm diggin on the Mothman inspiration. That would be very interesting.

Here’s a true story: I almost purchased the Mothman. It showed up at GC used for a flash and unfortunately I balked and someone else snagged it. I kick myself!

Out of these, the air space sounds the most attractive. It would be nice to end up with a playable/sellable bass that doesn't weigh 50 pounds or looks like a bug.
The all one wood thing.. if you exempt the fingerboard, it would be a build that many of us have already done... all mahogany.. all walnut etc.
The Mothman thing would be a relief, since I wouldn't feel compelled to enter.
I like the minimal approach also.

Airspace... This was on my FB 'Amateur Luthier' page... kinda like the look.
Certainly better than the slew of basses people have taken hole saws to that having popping up on TB!
Kinda cheesy if you ask me.
