Winter NAMM 2018 (ultra Pic-heavy)

Hammersmith didn't have a booth yesterday. They have one set up today.Yeah....I asked about Hammersmith because I know that @wintremute has an interest in them and simply wondered if i'd managed to miss his pics.....
I, for one, very much appreciate the hugeness of his task....
You missed a few:
* 80s rockers who still appear to have long black hair, and the same clothes.
* Women wearing very high stiletto shoes to a huge trade show, and complaining about their feet hurting
* Drummers checking out cymbals with almost scientific scrutiny
* Media interviews constantly interrupted by passing musicians
* Downstairs booths with oddly familiar knockoffs

I must say the displays make me feel old and out of touch. I see all the exotic woods, angled frets, superfluous strings and odd-shaped bodies and I just wanna reach for a trusty old Precision.

I didnt get the whole way through your list yet but if Veritas Guitars is there I know they have been working on starting to produce some pretty slick looking basses! I wouldnt mind if you took a couple pictures of their booth! Looking forward to looking through the rest of your pictures.

I'll be honest and say that I agree. It's no wonder that all my basses are boring P's a J and a CC Jazz. Booring compared to this stuff but I can't help but think that a lot of it looks like Pirate Furniture.

Please take some shots of the LowDown Bass booth (if it's there this year). Those were my favorite of the show last year, and I'd live to see if there's anything new.
It was in the basement last year, maybe it'll be in the same spot.

Please stop by the Pedulla booth and ask Michael what is his drug of choice he leaks through the fingerboards of his Buzz basses. These are so addicting.
