@wintremute I have another one. Check out Spalt Instruments (Booth 4310). They've made some pretty wild basses in the past.

Reminds me of the 60th Anniversary Precision with a '51 headstock and an additional J-pickup released in 2011:Love these.
Request for anybody there this year:
Please take some shots of the LowDown Bass booth (if it's there this year). Those were my favorite of the show last year, and I'd live to see if there's anything new.
It was in the basement last year, maybe it'll be in the same spot.
Oh, and be sure to play them toothe reason I loved em' so much was how perfect they felt.
Much obliged
On to Rickenbacker:

I go hunting for someone to ask about the 5-string, and I find this guy! Instead of kicking me out this year, he accepted my offering of carrots. This 5-string is wider at the nut than their previous version. It comes in natural and a very sexy matte black. Check out those crazy new pickups, too.

It's enough to make your head spin just checking out all the beautiful photos here.
How do you handle looking/lusting over all those basses when they're right within reach?
Hey, wintermute. Please give us a review of the Bass Bash. I know some artists prohibit photos but at least try to give a mini-write up of each performance if you can. Thanks!!!
Alberto's is only good for late night munchies. Much better options around OC/LA for burritos. So the day started with @TonyP- insisting that we go to a place he knows for breakfast burritos. He said they were the best. Probably because he's from Boston. They were good, but not great.

I got the Chorizo, because that's the way it's supposed to be.
