@wintremute I have another one. Check out Spalt Instruments (Booth 4310). They've made some pretty wild basses in the past.

Please take some shots of the LowDown Bass booth (if it's there this year). Those were my favorite of the show last year, and I'd live to see if there's anything new.
It was in the basement last year, maybe it'll be in the same spot.
Oh, and be sure to play them toothe reason I loved em' so much was how perfect they felt.

Sadly, I was just too tired to stick around. I listened to TSK, then a couple of Julie Slick songs, then I left. My goal is to stay awake to get these photos up. However, the promise of Chicken and Waffles with @Passinwind in the morning is keeping this dream alive!

So the day started with @TonyP- insisting that we go to a place he knows for breakfast burritos. He said they were the best. Probably because he's from Boston. They were good, but not great.

I'm thinking, it's a little after 9, I wonder if I can get into NAMM early again. I'll hit that Ernie Ball booth before it gets swamped. As I'm walking to the Hall D entrance, I decided to take an "artsy" shot of the front of NAMM with the fountain. As I'm taking the picture, music starts up...it's U2. They're up on the balcony! I was bamboozled though. It was a tribute band called Hollywood U2. However, they were very good (and they fooled a lot of people).
Alberto's is only good for late night munchies. Much better options around OC/LA for burritos.
