Some random dude on some random bass.

Just kidding, that's Andy Irvine playing the orange bass that @MarkoYYZ should have given to me instead of selling to someone else (who is probably a communist and clubs seals). You'll notice over Andy's right shoulder is the silver glitter bass that also was sold without my approval.

When I posted the Mike Walker Preamp, a few people asked for more info on the crazy looking cello. I went to the Newbasstone booth, and it was almost empty. It turns out some people took most of the stuff to an isolation booth. He said I could go join them.

So, I ended up in a small room with cellist Ilene McHolland, bassist Bas Vossen (with a name like that, what else would he play), and a couple of Newbasstone folk. They were testing, and let me stay to record. That YouTube video will be up later. Then, I got some a pic of the cello.

and @JeffBerlin.

I went to Jeff's Cort demo. I have video of him playing, and video of him teaching. Videos will be uploaded later. I got to talk with him afterwards. My takeaway is that he is very passionate about teaching, and people teaching in what he thinks is the correct way - and he was polite, engaged, and pleasant when we spoke.
