Carey Nordstrand makes some amazing things. That dude has more talent in his pinky finger than I do in my whole entire body. I definitely, want one of those new Acinonyx basses when they come out.

I don’t know who the manufacturer is of this bass but the body and headstock both, look almost identical to an Ibanez Soundgear bass. I hope for whoever that company or builder is, it doesn’t create patent infringement issues for them later on down the road.

Because I own a plethora of Ibanez Soundgear basses, I would love to play that bass and see how it compares to a Soundgear bass.

While I am busy editing digi-snaps of day 1 of NAMM, enjoy some killer shredding from 15 year old Taz Neiderauer from the the D'Angelico Guitars Suite with Matt Fox on Bass - Matt was funky as hell too but Brandon and his incredible precision picking, guitar face, wild licks and fine originals is a site to see and hear!
