Wireless system for bass guitar - what's being used?

I've been using a Line 6 G55 for several months now. It was flawless the first few months then I started having some incidents of signal dropout (about 2 seconds) while playing. After doing some research on various forums, I switched my transmitters to low power mode and it hasn't happened again since. I also started wrapping some tape around the body pack, over the battery compartment door because it opens rather easily...although it never popped open on me before, it seemed like a matter of time. The tone is perfect, absolutely no complaints in that department.

I use a Shure GLXD14 system. I also bought an extra battery. Between the two batteries, I never have to worry about it, at all, ever! It is a great feeling. The system sounds amazing, and has 60dB of dynamic range for use with various instruments. Also know the hours/minutes/ left on my battery is very handy.

Guess I'm the only one using an Audio Technica System 10 wireless system? I've had it for about a year now, use it for gigs and quite a bit at home for practice (just to see how it does etc). Bought it for it's specs vs price range ($300-ish) I'm no expert but I don't notice any difference in tone/sound versus plugging in with a cord. Flawless performance so far. Anyone else have any experience or opinions on this brand/system?

you're not alone, me too have been using the System 10 the last 6 months. Currently using the basic ATW-1101 (amp top receiver) version and would like to add the Stompbox version for easier effect pedals connection later.

It's been a solid system despite using the crowded WiFi band which has become problem to other brands. The three levels of diversity assurance that Audio-Technica has been bragging about really works.

Which version do you have?

They are the same thing... ATW-R1100 is only the receiver model. The package with ATW-R1100 receiver and ATW-T1001 unipack transmitter is called ATW-1101 (actually, the whole package model is ATW-1101/ATGCW since it also includes the AT-GCW instrument input cable).

Then I ordered the AT-GRCW PRO instrument input cable, cause I prefer right angle connector to go with most of my basses (except the Ibanez SR which have front angled output jack).

Digital (2.4Ghz) band is getting pretty darn crowded with all the stage and non-stage devices operating in that band.. take a look at these pages for other choices
the 2nd link is bass focused and a little dated.. the first is from last yr.

Another Line 6 G30 user here. Gig it regularly with no issues. My only complaint about it is the plastic case is a bit fragile and I keep a velcro strap around the txmitter to make sure the battery door doesn't spring out and lose contact w/ the batteries. The battery door and plastic case complaint is something I read about before purchasing so I knew it going in. And for the $ it really is a great system.
