Is the drummer trying to pull off a young Adolph Hitler look? Takes balls to grow a mustache like that!

He reminds me of John Cleese doing Hitler back in Cleese's Monty Python's Flying Circus days.
Wow, I cannot believe he is up to 800 basses. Have his basses really gotten any better in terms of construction?
Four-string Acoustic Banana Bass by Steve Wishnevsky
3-ply Baltic Birch Body (durable and not affected by humidity changes)...well balanced and comfortable while sitting
Purpleheart fingerboard
29.75" short scale 3-piece walnut neck
Rosewood Bridge/Corian Nut and Saddle
D-Addario Chromes
Black Grover Tuners
Tone: resembles an upright bass with an echo-like, full articulate tone - sounds better than most ABGs on the market
woho a nice Wishbass 6er in England... you just have to clue the good place and set up the bridge right there. The pickgard is backside![]()

It didn't sell with the reserve he had on it, so he relisted it at £200.00 ($400) and I bought it. It arrived at 11:30 last night! I think that we're going to get on fine as soon as I put another bridge on it (you can see daylight between the bottom of the bridge and the wood). Is anyone able to recommend one, bearing in mind that it's a six sting and thru-body?
Regards,
Mike.
Why do people buy these basses?
but they look really low quality and look bad. If they sound good that's ok but hmm. I wouldn't buy one.Interesting looks and great sound. I used my fretless last week to sit in with a big band, I was replacing a player who used upright. The guys in the band loved the sound, nobody missed the upright, and several audience members came up during breaks to comment on the bass and how pretty the wood is.
Great instrument at a great price.
