That's oddly hypocritical since you said it wasn't about the genre of music, but it was merely that there was no live band. All of the above artists that you're bashing have live bands. I think they suck too, but I was under the impression that live music was the issue, seeing as you made that perfectly clear earlier on.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of that style of rap in general. However, keep in mind there's a ton of rap out there that's better.

I'm not interested in any of those artists. I'm sure a lot of people will have a great time watching those bands, though. And as far as the ones I haven't heard - why would I pay huge money and go through the giant hassle of going to a festival with a bunch of bands I don't particularly care about in hopes of discovering something good? Isn't that kind of a backwards way of doing things?

Sweeping generalizations, especially when INTENDED to be insulting, are as stupid when applied to the minority of the generation that attended "Woodstock I" as when they're made in reference to the millennial generation.

It’s true. The Peace & Love generation is the exact same generation at the Gordon Geko Greed is Good generation. Jane Fonda went from protesting Vietnam to marrying Ted Turner.
