I've learned it doesn't have to be expensive to sound good. When you find the right gear for you, you just know it. There's something about that Golden Face that is incredible. It boosts something, maybe low mids?, in just the right spot to really make the tone punch through with a pick. I don't like it so much fingerstyle. To me, it's kind of a one-trick pony. But it's the best pony for the trick. (That being said, I'm currently selling it and a bunch of other stuff on Reverb because I dug myself into a serious hole buying pedals in the past few months and I'm only playing once every few months anyway. But if it never sells, I'm okay with that.)Yep, that's one of the songs that I use the plumes on. Lion and the Lamb is another contender. It's cool seeing love for joyo pedals, especially from someone like you that owns some really nice gear on your board.
