View attachment 3899527 I just did a few changes to my pedalboard. Added a CIOKS DC7, changed the arrangement of stuff and put my Darkglass VMTD on the board. I'm impressed with the DC7 so far - runs cool and VERY flexible! I still have to neaten up under the board but I think it was a good change - LOVE the character the VMTD adds and I will be able to remove the church's DI from the system.
The funny thing is, the other bassist (who also plays a lot of guitar) just got a Helix LT - sounds good but the Stomp is plenty for what I want.
Nice mess on the desk, isn't it?

I just purchased an HX Stomp a few weeks ago and I've been researching MIDI control options and narrowed it down to the Disaster Area and Morning Star products and the MC6 is at the top of my list so far. You can probably expect a PM from me if I run into trouble with the MC6 as I'm completely MIDIgnorant lol.View attachment 3899527 I just did a few changes to my pedalboard. Thanks much!Theres a Morningstar Engineering facebook group, and a 'Line 6 MIDI Mad Scientists Club', both are awesome resources for the Morningstar controllers + Line6 (and other devices) integrations
No, it is a midi control unit. There are a total of 5 banks of 6 presets and you use it to control the selected "patch" on the Stomp. They also have a MC8 now...more footswitches! I really only use the 1st bank but have the second bank (5 out of 6) set up for less used selections. VERY active user's forum, Yoot-ube videos and a Farcebook page really helps you get up and running - even if you are a midiot like me.Is your morning star a cabinet simulator?

almost sold everything few months ago and bought the helix, but for ambiance staff this is my way to go...and yes, boad, cables, effect order...is so pain in ass
Whoops, yes. I think my cable must have rubbed against it when I was putting my bass away. Yes, it's usually between 11 and 12 o'clock. That would be quite piercing! Typically it's more like...

Cool, I've wanted to try out the Utility Knife. What's the Nintendo controller pedal?
I love the simplicity...great bass tone doesn't have to be a mega number of stacked pedals...IF you find the right pedal combination.
