I already have all the pedals except the volume pedal. Wanting to use that for always on tuner and ability to adjust volume at a higher detail level.

Current board is just tuner -> micro synth -> tone hammer. Looking to expand by adding another drive (Moonshine v4, it has a blend knob) and some modulation capabilities at the end or even "dry out" and an "amp out" with the stomp.

I gotta ask, how come bigger? I feel like it was perfect before. Not saying this one isn’t just as nice but, do you feel like you were missing something?

i know every time I decide to go smaller, it only lasts a couple of weeks before I start feeling like I could use more pedals

I thought about going bigger for a few minutes yesterday. Then I got over it...for now. I hang on to my Nano just in case. I thought about adding my old Bass Big Muff back but I don’t really use dirt at church so we’ll see if when the cover band gets going again if I do. Tuner, Rolls, Big Muff, and room for another. Keep the REDDI separate of course.

I have found a pedalboard that is perfect (at least for me) for something a bit larger then the Pedaltrain nano and offers more height. Or if you don’t want the width of the nano+ but wish you had more height.

This still feels pretty compact.

I have this GOKKO board at home in case I ever want to go "bigger." No frills, sturdy, works like a charm.

Right now I am using a Warwick Rockboard 2.1. At least for now...

I definitely agree -- it is perfect how it is. I've just found (especially in the holiday season with some "special" services) that it would be nice to have a spot for the HX Stomp on my board for some flexibility. Of course, adding the HX would require a larger board than I have, so it left some room to add another pedal or two.

Having a Pedaltrain nano sized board is so convenient though, especially for load in and traveling. So I don't think it would go away forever.

I kicked this around for a bit.

I have everything except the Cali76 (Yes I know I just got rid of an LA-1A) and I think a OneSpot would probably power it all just fine, although I did have some buzz issues at church so maybe not. The “blank” is a Rolls PM50s for my IEM’s. Could always get a DC4 or something I guess. Wouldn’t need the Cali but there is space on the board.

I could use the extra space in my REDDI pelican case for cables and stuff I suppose.

As my personal experience shows...even a midiot can learn with the right tools! Using the Morningstar online app and HX Edit I do what I need to do pretty easily.

Plan on rocking this digital board for Christmas Eve and through New Years. Maybe longer if it works out well. The rolls will be attached to a mount on the iPad stand.

Patches include Clean, Drive, and Ambient on the B3N and the MS60B will do duty with an always on Compressor, Preamp, and ZNR noise gate.

Just curious, what do you need the Rolls for? Unless you’re using something other than standard monitoring units like a Live Mix or Aviom or something?

Any of you all actually have two separate boards? Because yeah...I've crossed into that territory and I'm heading down the rabbit hole. My big main board is set up as a do-all, mostly IEM only rig that literally has everything on it. I could easily use it for whatever else that I want and then some.

However, I've found myself playing at our second campus again which requires me to go amplified with no PA support. Hey, no complaints here because I love my rig - Mesa D800 and PH212 cabinet. For the last service I literally just plugged straight into the amp and that was it. But, this is the pedalboard thread and we are all enablers here. So it got me thinking...how do I make a tiny board with the basics on it? You know - tuner, compressor, a couple other effects, and if it's big enough it can hold the Stomp bluetooth page turner. We are also slightly limited on power out there even though I could haul an extension cord for my big board and take it, I just don't want to. How about something that has a rechargeable battery? Oh yes...

I debated a "modular" board for a while. Something like...
Main board: Tuner, Rolls PM50s (for IEM's) and compressor (for church where I don't use effects) DC-7 underneath with an "expander" power cable to power...
2nd board: Drive, Filter, octave, whatever.

I decided to just go simple...Sonic Research ST-300 Tuner to the REDDI. Rolls for my IEM's. So far so good. Haven't got to gig it with the cover band. Won't until summer.
When I use my amp it tends to be simple jazz or singer songwriter type gigs so I'll bring my ST-300, Genzler MG350/112T-V combo and call it good.

The battery area looks very similar to the BoxKing wireless pedalboard batteries.

I have had a BoxKing battery for years and have had no problems with it. Not sure if it is the same company or not.

Yep. Looks like Samson got a hold of it and rebranded to Tourtek. Not surprised considering its origin and how many other manufacturers have done the same thing. Fairly decent reviews of their stuff out there for people looking to use a rechargeable system.
