That’s quite a board. Stuff underneath, on top, to the side...I would never have the patience to program and remember all of that.
Not as much tap dancing as it may seem. Stuff underneath is set and forget always on. Visually since it's not seen, I don't even think about it. On top I simply switch between two preamp channels, add overdrive when needed, and select a few H9 presets from the Mastermind. The built-in tuner is great to boot.
The band plays to a click and the Beat Buddy setup on the left allows me to easily program song tempo presets. If all goes well during the live set, it's simply two taps - next song and start. But I also have the flexibility to dynamically adjust the tempo by 0.5 bpm increments on the fly as needed. It took a little getting used to simultaneously playing and tapping away, but it's all part and parcel of being in charge of the tempo for the band.
