Great! Thanks again. There's a Home Depot about 10 mins from my house. Lugged my mini to church today, the whole time wishing I had something smaller to stap to my Mono Vertigo case.
Question, what's the adhesive used to secure the marine carpet?

It's a contact adhesive. I used a product called kwik grip, but I'm sure there are dozens available. I used one that needs to be applied with a scraper, but there are spray on ones also. I've had mixed results with them though.

We did Come and Worship by Bebo Norman yesterday for a Christmas worship song. Four piece (Bass, accoustic guitar, electric guitar, drums) with 4 vocals and using Pads by worshiptutorials.com (highly recomend). I used both the distortion channel on my Empress Multidrive and my EQD Dispatch Master to create a kindof wet, grungy feel that complimented the more clean guitar sounds. It was awesome!

Here was the board from a few weeks ago. It changes every week. The OneControl A-B/Y box runs to a Novation Bass Station that feeda through my modulation and delay pedals. I keep both instruments at unity gain and switch back and forth throughout the set. It keeps things interesting.

Have any of you guys run the Mission Engineering volume pedals? I've had issues in the past with my volume pedals cutting too much "signal strength" and I believe the ME is an active pedal with a built in buffer.

Pedal GAS free at last! I also like that I can easily peel off the Noble to use it as a standalone unit for those occasions that I want to keep it really simple. I'll get use use it on WT on the 20th (and the rehearsal a few days before)

After scrolling through this thread and seeing a few boards with the Noble DI on them, I did a search... Long story short, all I checked out was the company site. All I'm saying is one of my "tax time splurges" will be this fantastic looking box.
I love the idea of being able to grab a tuner, comp, some modulation, and some dirt for the grrrrr factor, and power it all with this DI.
I've been looking into so many DI's lately, my search is over. I wasn't trying to derail the thread, so my apologies if it seemed so.

I ended up subbing this morning and tried the Factotum - the OD was great but the Octaver was a bit much for the stuff we had this morning. Maybe next week - but I don't know what the songs will be but do know that we will not be having a rehearsal before the run-through Sunday before the service.

I do love the sound of the two Darkglass pedals all the time and the OD is a nice add but I don't like even a little OD with UniChorus. Funny - usually, I am an "anything worth doing is worth over-doing" kind of guy.

Happy belated New Year!
I figured I should finally post my board. This is pretty much final with the exception of the VFE Triumvirate V1 to be replaced by new bass one eventually.

Order:
Aguilar TLC -> VFE Triumvirate V1 -> Ernie Ball VP Jr (into TC Electronic Polytune Nior 2) -> TC Electronic Nova Delay (primarily for swells) -> EHX Freeze -> Aguilar Tone Hammer DI (when direct) and/or Aguilar AG500 amp.
Funny story about the VFE, I looked for over a year for a distortion pedal that didn't cut the lows, and was offered the VFE here on a trade. It's actually a guitar pedal that splits the signal through 2 crossovers, which allows me to keep the bass clean, heavily distort the mids and mildly distort the highs to get a pretty sweet bass tone.

It's a MB 210, that I eq'ed as flat as I could. Sound was delicious... I have the 1st of two Baer ML-112s coming at the end of the week, and the other (hopefully) soon. Also have the Phil Jones Bass D-400 on pre-order. I have other amps that I can power it with until then. I'll run the Noble into the effects return as my main choice. I predict that you'll really dig it

12 x 12 Rubber mat from Lowes. Zip ties. Old laptop bag. Easy, quiet, doesn't slide around. Re-configurable. I have a 24 x 12 version ... and a 12 x 12 version. These come in 36 x 36 mat sizes with nine 12" rubber tiles.

I was wondering about the VP Jr. I have been planning on getting one for my worship playing rig I have heard conversations about one made for passive and one made for active basses. Sadly I play both regularly do you have any suggestions as to what is the best option for me as far as a VP.

I am currently setting up a new board and will have a tuner, chorus, Overdrive and a sansamp.

Thoughts?

To be honest, I guess it kinda depends. In my opinion, volume pedals should always be after distortions. Otherwise, the distorted tone will become less distorted when the volume is lowered. If it's after distortion, than the distorted tone remains the same after volume adjustment. Anyways, this would typically create an active signal (I could be wrong...) Hence, get the active version (that's what I have). But if you run your volume first, then the passive one should definitely be used on passive basses....
If it was my board, I would overdrive -> volume (tuner off of volume) -> chorus -> sansamp.
Although the sansamp may also have distortion on, it can also be used as a DI so it should be last.
I also like to leave my tuner always on, and just turn my volume pedal down to tune. This way, you can check you tuning when you're playing a live note. The only con about this layout is that when you tune, your note may be distorted making the tuner struggle I guess. I just turn my distortion off to tune.
