I agree. Most of the DG offerings are just too over the top for me. The Element is clean as a whistle. You can add a bit of Drive in the Power amp sim, but it works well clean.

What I found with DG was the midscoop that I just couldn't dial out. Well in the ones I tried which isn't many. Just the VMT, B3K and B7k
I agree! Never been a fan of the dirtier side. I have a Microtubes X Ultra that I’m moving on from, but the Element is working well for me. We’ll see if I still feel that way after my Super Vintage gets here!
Daisy chaining is always suspect for noise, but digital pedals really need isolated supplies.

And we shall assume, as far as this board is concerned, GAS is completely gone!

First Sunday with the new board tomorrow!
I thought I was going minimalist tomorrow and just bring the Khan. Then I realized I needed a tuner, then I needed a way to power the tuner, then I needed a page turner…forget it, I’ll just bring my board.
That was a thought but my clip on tuner is in my son’s acoustic guitar case that he lent to a friend who is learning to play.
I am playing a Fender American Ultra and in active mode it drove the Khan nicely. It sits great in a mix at home but is a little twangy/bright solo’d. If I were going to do it I would need to play with the eq on the bass a bit more but it could work in a pinch.
I have 3 clip on tuners, one in each bass case and one at home, just in case. I need to try playing with just the Khan and see how I like it. Because I’m running different pedals into it I have only used the -6db option as Obeid advises that when using an active bass… and to be safe I have always choosen that option when feeding it with pedals and the stingray. But I may have to try it by itself with the p bass on the full pad live.

Power supply is first...definitely need something central to power both the Stomp and the other auxiliary pedals.

I like the Cioks (I am using the SOL with a custom cable but I have a small board) for power and Ernie Ball Flat patch cables.
Cioks here as well. (DC7) I like the DC7 because if I decide to add more pedals to the board (or a pedal or three that requires a lot of current), I'm set. Each outlet is also totally isolated from the others (which I believe is true for other Cioks models).
The One Spot could work for you depending on whether your pedals play nice with each other (but the connections in the chain are not isolated from each other).
I use the EBS patch cables. I haven't had any problems with them (the gold ones are a little pricy). I'm sure others might have some cheaper alternative cable suggestions.
I have no experience with the HX Stomp (but that is on my radar!).
