Instrument and speaker cables all from @ExaltBass and he recommended the EBS for my case- really flat and seem pretty robust anyway.
ditto on CIOKS.
I use EBS patch cords too. Have also had good luck with some of the cheaper copies.

Cioks covers my power, I use Tourgear for my flat patch cables. I found they blocked power inputs less that the EBS cables I was using before.
I agree. The DC7 isnt a sexy purchase but you sure are glad you did later on.
I’m looking at adding something in this spot here. Was considering the Walrus Audio Lore or Fable.
Are there any other recommendations for what y’all may put there? I want something soundscape like that I can have for solo play/filler, but I’m not sure if I’m missing something else.

Cioks is great in general but for the Stomp I think that it’s easier to use a Truetone CS6. In the Cioks DC7 I believe you would need to use two outputs in parallel to power it but a Truetone can handle it from one (even if it’s rated at 500ma it will deliver 1A if required) due to the way it’s built.
For my two HX stomp boards I have a Truetone CS6 in one and a Sweetfoot HX Micro in the other. No issues with either.

When I chose these two I googled a bit and found this in the Cioks FAQ so I didn’t try.
“The Line6 Stomp requires 900ma for full operation and the HX Effects requires 1A. You will need to use a parallel flex adapter (#8800) and the yellow flex cable (#3050) to power it via two outlets from the DC7 set at 9V.”

Hmmm very interesting, perhaps I was misinformed. I use a Cs6 as well to power my board and my SLO and have never had an issue with it. Cioks gets a lot of love around here but the Cs6 is great. I use the cioks on my other board to feed 24v to my pedals but if you don't need that kind of power then the Cs6 is definitely the way to go, costs less and the cables are much sturdier. Those Cioks cables feel like they're going to fall apart everytime I move them.
I think the question becomes "How much are you looking to run on your board?" I am using the current doubler on my DC7, but that still leaves me with 5 outputs. Unless you have more than 5 other digital pedals, or 3 digital pedals and 4-5 analog pedals that play well with daisy chaining, you really won't need more. Plus, if you ever do, you can get an expansion bay without needing a full new supply.
