Worship Bass Pedalboards

I'm questioning how I want my bass to sound now....I don't want a big pedalboard with a Stomp, DI, or whatever. Just something super simple but I can't figure out what kind of sound I want for my P and J respectively.

I've always liked the Sansamp stuff but I also want something like the Stomp where the presets are encoded and not subject to be changed when the knobs move around during transport. I don't know if that makes sense lol.

Maybe it might be worth fixing my Stomp and building around that...

Lol sounds like stomp might be just what the doctor ordered. Or at the least something like a Source EQ2 with something else for drive/DI if needed.

I like the tuner/stomp/tube di set up but I could also roll with a tuner and a sansamp.

I still have my nano board with a tuner/keeley bassist compressor/Bddi v2. Great lil board. If you want, you can leave all the knobs on the board at noon and have a good tone sent to the FOH. In all honesty I don't think the comp is really necessary on it however it can provide extra sustain which can be useful during worship sets.

I love my MXR Bass Octave Deluxe (BOD), but since I went to 5 string I've used my Source Audio C4 more often.

I loved the tracking and ease of getting a great sound with that BOD, and on four string I'd often use it to end songs that had a key like D when i didn't want to drop-tune. Gives a nice, room-filling sound on that last note. I'd also use it if there's a guitar solo but nothing really filling in the sonic space they covered while strumming. Jump an octave on the neck, and engage BOD.
All of the above holds true for the C4, but there's also other synth-wonderful fun to be had. And envelope filters and phasers and distortions, and other fun stuff. (And even octave up).

Here's my latest version of which, most of it I've had for a while! The VTDI I think I've had for like 9 years! Just had an episode with my newer Kioks power supply where the power plug socket has been loose for wa while and it gets figgity and problematic so last Saturday night it became unusable during rehearsal and I ended up resecuring it later that night (it wouldn't completely come apart) with some black windshield adhesive a 2 guitar pick shims!

TC Corona Chorus! Actually have two! I tried running two as I like a little with my fretted basses and was going to try to stack the second for fretless but it seems one got cancelled and didn't work like I expected it to work.

I also have a Source Audio Dimension Reverb on my big play board that you could litterally spend hours trying different settings with.
