Maybe that's the real route to go. I'd add a mini tuner personally… but if it all fits on a nano that is one very capable rig that's a force to be reckoned with.

I thought about a Strobostomp Mini but I need access to both sides of the Stomp for my IEM setup.
Just curious. What did you not like about the Darkglass Infinity? I have some interest in them and looking for opinions….
I am going to be real honest...I have a gear problem. I am always tone chasing and wanting to try new stuff. This forum and youtube are a bad influence. The infinity is awesome, but I wasn't really using any of the distortion/overdrive side of it. I really like all of the DynIR options that Two Notes has.

it will never end, I really wish there were some sort of gear library to try things out. My local stores don't have the stuff I am looking for so I buy it based on video reviews and then when I try it in my rig it's not the same. Would love to be able to try things out in a real world scenario before I buy it.
You would think that bassist in the "Worship Pedalboards" and "P&W Club" threads would be content with our gear... These are the 2 threads that corrupted me since joining TB. Worship bassists are the worst... and influenced me into buying things I don't need.

This. Folks say, man, you change pedals a lot. Well, it's the only way you can really figure out what you're after.
I get this. There are two things you can do:
1. Buy used and be smart about it. Then, if something's not a keeper, you can move it along with little to no loss.
2. Make friends with folks on TB. I borrow gear from (select) people and lend my stuff in return.
100%. I have learned so much about both gear and my own preferences by trying scores of pedals. And it's really refined my ear as well. That education is invaluable to me.
I wanted to like the Infinity. At the time it had everything I wanted in one pedal. But I thought it was just to aggressive. Darkglass and Dingwall both suffer from that association with aggressive, heavy rock thing. I know both can do other things but…
What I've found is that the ABs and Supers (with no preamp) come across as passive-aggressive.

For everyone looking at 12AU7 vs 12AX7, also look at 12AY7 and 12AT7 if they're available. The last two have gain levels in between those of the first two.

Because of noise or because they don't have power jacks? You can buy 9 V battery clip to "Boss style" jack adapters.
Thats the thing, the cheap darn things have a 9V power jack, I tried using them without the battery installed, no dice. It seems they need the battery to complete the circuit, you can use the battery as a power supply, or plug it into the power jack once it's dead. It will still work. I haven't replaced the batteries since getting them. They've gotten lots of use, I always just plug the 9V jack in when I want to use them regardless.
First Sunday trying out the Simplifier and very impressed. Being able to mix my own clean/dirty blend with the clean signal low passed at 100hz and all going through an 8x10 cab sim was the best DI/IEM tone I've gotten. In a perfect world I'd be sending separate clean and dirty signals to foh and letting them mix it but this works for our current setup. Still finding the octamizer a bit too aggressive sounding for what I want in church. Probably gonna let that one go.

Been a minute, but all that's changed has been the new update to the HX. Really dig the Noble Preamp they put in it, rebuilt my patch around it instead of the SVT and really like the result!
