I think one of your knobs is in the wrong position. But I'm not going to tell you which one.
Why two tuners?
Because it has guitar-bass switch, both modes are unique and useful when I bassing or guitaring on my cello. Very nice wah, if Boss release something better I'll go for that.

White [outboard] TU-3 (runs on battery) is for acoustic tunings.
I'm using it when I'm unplugged.
I just like them.
Someone pointed me to this thread following a question about effects on the https://www.talkbass.com/threads/the-praise-and-worship-band-bassists-club.1068274/page-5573 thread. Here's my current Sunday morning board, with the top row for acoustic guitar that I often also play, and the bottom row bass with the chorus, octamizer & filter switched in or out depending on my mood, albeit I generally only use the tuner and compressor. I've also squirreled away a line6 wireless unit underneath.

Nice. I have thought about getting a bigger board and leaving everything wired up. Right now, I'm swapping pedals in and out based on the song list. My tuner and preamp stay and I have space for 2 more pedals. If no effects, then I put a compressor between them.
The other idea that I had was to have 2 boards. One Nano with tuner, comp, pre. And another Nano with chorus, OD and octave. More of a modular setup, but that takes away signal chain options.
Yes - I did originally have two pedal boards, the bigger one being for bass with all the pedals, but then after a few Sundays of playing both guitar and bass depending on the song and having the faff of two pedalboards at my feet (and carrying an extra bag), I realised that for the sacrifice of switching some barely used bass pedals in and out it was just much easier to have one board!
...I could have come up with a more sophisticated switching option to share the tuner and compressor between the guitar and bass, but given I had two I thought why not stick them on the same board and put up with people asking me why I had two tuners and two compressors! The Ditto is quite handy when asked to play some quiet guitar in the background as it enables me to branch out beyond the normal "quietly strumming G, C & Em", and I've also used it to record a bass loop during sound check so I can run round to the front and see how it sounds! Also the MXR bass chorus sounds epic on the guitar, so there are advantages to having both guitar & bass pedals in one place for experimentation purposes!
Yeah, but it's acoustic 4/4 + fishman piezo pickup. I really like to experimenting with sounds (rock, jazz, ellectro, pop).
I understand that I could make 2 smaller p-boards instead 1 huge, but never know what inspires me to play so I stay with my riffle-case.
But still I'm acoustic fan
I ended up giving chorus a try from the recommendations in this thread. I'm officially repenting of my former anti-chorus ways. I didn't realize how much bigger it could make your sound even without much modulation.
My bass chorus deluxe and my vintage microtubes are my most used pedals for worship bass. For the jamming stuff with drive, I run the VMT and it helps me stand out a little. The BCD, I run on the ballad-y stuff with the crossover engaged, so it only affects the higher register stuff when I run up there in breakdowns or bridges or whatever and it is so beautiful.
When I need more grit/hair/synth, I kick on my Microsynth as my 3rd most used pedal other than my tuner for worship.
Believe it or not, the VMT and chorus are both very guitar friendly too with the chorus giving it a very lush and thick sound and the VMT being edge of break-up.
I'm on a search for a nice chorus pedal. I tried the Julia and the Horrothia Type One. I love the Type One at milder settings, but with only one knob, I wish the more extreme settings could be tweaked more. The Julia is nice. It's just not THE sound I'm looking for.
damn! You're competing with those Boss displays that have every compact pedal arranged by color. Saw one in Seoul last week.
I found the Julia to be noisy. The MXR only engages when you play which is really nice.
Interesting. I didn't notice any noise with the Julia, but I found that it was a bit too hi-fi sounding. Almost too clean. The MXR is on my short list.
I'm looking at a used Keeley Seafoam Chorus this week. Anyone have experience with this unit?
I just got the MXR Analog Chorus and so far it seems really nice. I've heard some complaint about it boosting too much or something but haven't noticed it so far with the level adjusted.
