I'll have to keep on the lookout. That and either an Octabvre (unlikely lol) or a Subsonic are on my list too, none very easy to get ahold of

The last Subsonic drop lasted longer than some drops. (Minutes, not seconds) You can add your email to be notified. A few are popping up in the classifieds.
I was kind of thinking about selling the Noble and picking up a Capo instead. I know a comparison would be lengthy and subjective, but in your opinion, would you miss the Noble in that scenario?
I have a CAPO ordered. I'd love to read how other worship pedal boards make use of it. Could replace several pedals?
MikoFX was kind enough to trade me his Subsonic, so I fell into one pretty quickly.
There seems to be a lot of talk about them. Hype is strange...a lot of very popular, and hard to find pedals, didn't do it for me, BUT I have a few that did live up to the hype and found a spot on my board.
Thanks, I saw in the Broughton thread some more are slated hopefully in a few months? That's not too bad. If I see a good deal in the classifieds I'll jump on one too.
Free The Tone now makes the Black Vehicle bass overdrive (BV-1V). It's not so much a reissue as a different pedal, but I would say it's better for it.
Yes. Josh Broughton is aiming to expand the selection of always in-stock pedals. Last year he did so with the Scorpion. This year he is doing so with the RFE and Subsonic. These are receiving larger, more frequent drops than other Broughton pedals which remain difficult to get. 3 Leaf Audio is also putting out pedals at a rate not seen in years. You'll be able to get one of these with some patience

Yes, only because I’m practically plugging directly into a “tube amp” (the noble) for buffering. The Peterson has a nice buffer but it also has so nice of an internal relay you can hear an audible click when the pedal disengages.
I like EUNA and 29 pedals a lot. Especially the tone shaping. But I wanted the front of my “clean” chain to be pretty free from EQ.

Sorry if I miss anybody’s replies, I have my notifications whack on this thread.
I’m in love with the Noble. It’s a vital part of my studio sound. When I go to other studios, the Noble is the only piece of gear an engineer gets excited about (or the REDDI). There’s a reason for that, sound is one part and hype is another. The noble has a good feel when you play through it and the EQ is great right in front of a B15 for a little more modern sound or to push the B15 a little harder.
the CAPO is the fun character I want and the mid controls I NEED live. So if the studio is going to let me use it, they’ll be wanting a clean chain. The capo has a different kind of depth than the noble’s tubes.
I chose to not have to choose.

I like CAPO because the mids are accurate and API like, and the main saturation feels smooth and not Darkglassy. That type of tone is generally what I don’t like as my “main” sound. But the other side of the CAPO with more mid forward distortion is an added plus.
and the routing from a utility perspective is like a dream.
like I’ve even tried to float the idea to Jack from Noble or 29 pedals about like::. We’ve got amazing tone and buffering covered. What if we did some kind of pedalboard routing hub that’s an all in one.
like a noble plus an effects loop that’s clickable in and out.
or a EUNA type input and output driver in one enclosure with a loop that removes pedals from the signal. But also has an independent spot to pair it with a REDDI or RNDI.
that’s just how I think, and the Jad crew made a pedal that works like I (over) think

Patience is a virtue I'll try to keep remembering that
I like it quite a bit. I did a shoot out with the Broughton, MXR Octave Bass deluxe, MXR Vintage Bass Octave, EHX Nano POG, and the HX octave models. The Broughton sound is clean and clear and authoritative. The Vintage Bass Octave is a very strong contender and smaller, sounds extremely close to the Broughton, to my ears. The EHX POG is deeper than the others (like a deep switch is turned on), which is appealing for subwoofer drama, but also threw my downstream Origin stuff into unintended overdrive. I'm returning the Bass Octave Deluxe and POG and keeping the smaller Vintage Bass Octave and the Broughton.
I used the Broughton octaver for the Elevation song Jehovah last Sunday for the synth in the intro and the synth/bass in the bridge.

I thought the MXR Vintage Bass Octave is very underrated as well. Does remind me of the EBS Octaver block on the Stomp a little. Its a good octaver.
The EBS Octaver block in the HX is really very good. Tracks very low and stable.
Does anyone use a Freeze pedal? I just ordered one. I'm thinking that I can use it to sustain some of the synth sounds so there's a rumble going on. There are a few other songs that I think it will be useful.

I use the hx stomp version of it (poly sustain). It takes practice to hit the off/on at just the right time to sound natural, at least for me it did, but when it works it’s really cool.
Hoping to join the Sunday ranks once again soon, with a little more than just a DI box this time
