I do this as well. Even if I didn't need the extra power port, I'd use the USB because it lets the Peterson Mini abut the pedal to its immediately left. Using the standard power input takes up more board space since it is mounted on the side of the Mini.Not to answer for Miko, but that's how I power mine. The mini can be powered off a Mini USB-C. The Cioks DC7 has a USB port, saves a slot for another pedal

Yeah I have a full top row on a Pedaltrain that needs filled... Once I'm done saving for some other things it quickly will be.
I'm digging my CAPO for overdriven tones right now. How does the CAPO compare with the Grizzly and/or Jellyfish OD?
The Grizzly & Jellyfish are both really great, but there's really no comparison to the CAPO... it's simply fantastic!
With that said, both the Grizzly and Jellyfish are in what I would call the 'parallel drive' camp, while the CAPO is in the 'overdriven preamp' camp.
If you want to try out a Grizzly send me a DM & we'll set it up. Unfortunately, I traded the Jellyfish awhile back so I no longer have that to loan out.
I've never used one, but I was listening to Janek's video and was surprised at the VT Bass Di from Sansamp. And I thought almost allof them sounded better with a P bass.

I have to say, that REDDI did sound like the fattest of the fat. I listened on three different types of headphones and earbuds and it had the best sound to me of all of them. I always believed you, but I never had proof lol. Of course no one would notice that last 5-10% but us.
My .02¢ regarding worship pedal board DI's…
I've been off and on with both the TH di and Noble for in ear stuff at church. I've owned both preamp 3xs. Lol. And while they both sound good, the noble does sound better. And its simplistic layout is well executed. It takes little effort to get a really good bass sound to foh no matter your experience level. I'm not hip on its non-isolated dc power ports. So I've always ran an external supply with the noble for pedals I had on my board. It was a game changer when it came out. And to some degree, it still is.
The THDI requires a little more effort, but it's not overly complicated. I've always thought the ags circuit was crap. Unusable for me. But it's a fraction of the cost when compared to a noble. And if need be, you could have one on your doorstep tomorrow.
I've always felt guilty owning the noble. I don't know why. Maybe because it's a 1500 "pedal". Stupid logic considering some of the other more expensive gear I own. Maybe because it wasn't something I used all the time when I played (only used it at church for the most part, but would use it live as a di over the TH500 di). So when I felt guilty, I'd cash out and flip for a THDI. Did that dance a few times. lol.
So the Capo has a noble'esque clean tone. It's clean is really good. But the drive is the best I've heard from any pedal. It's pre-break up saturation is money. Def something the TH failed to do IMO. There's just so much going on with that pedal, and it does it all extremely well. It's not like it's a really good clean and a mediocre level dirty/drive, or a really good dirt sound and a mediocre clean sound. All of it is real good to my ears. So to me, the capo is kind of like combining the noble with TH ags function, and then doing the ags function 1000xs better, all the while giving a few more bells and whistles with some of its wild routing options…..and all of that for about $500…..about 1/3 of the cost of a noble, or just a few hundo more than a THDI.

Essentially a clean tone ran in parallel with a driven tone VS the entire signal being clean/saturated/driven.
Can confirm that the SB after the CAPO is absolutely FIRE! I especially like it with a 12AT7 or 5751 in it.
All setup and ready to go this morning! This is my board that I use for everything so not using all the drive pedals Using a bit of light reverb from the Slotva for some soft bits and bit of drive from the MBD at the end of the service! Top row is all on giving me a nice fat finger tone DI and amp sound.
So then are you using the DI on the sushi if you're putting the sushi after the capo? What's different about this combo vs just running the capo with out the SB finally?
I bought a khan to use after my capo….but I just don't feel it adds anything worthy of justifying the extra board space and the extra AC power cabling. Not saying it does sound good. Just saying I think it's a point of diminishing return.
No, I actually DI out of the Darkglass Element that I run at the end of my signal chain.
The difference between the Khan and the SushiBox is that the SushiBox can be driven to the point of saturation. The additional saturation that the SushiBox brings to the table is just the cherry on top, but certainly has the potential to have more of an impact than the Khan does depending on how you're running the SB.
I also enjoy the Effectrode LA-1A driven to the point of saturation after the CAPO. It's even better than the SB, but it's 3X the size and 2.5X+ the price. For those who don't have the board space or who don't care to spend $600, the SB Finally, Underground Accelerator, or Space Heater are all amazing options (they're all variations of the same preamp circuit) and sound fantastic!

yeah, for me, I don't need anymore saturation than what the capo offers. I've always wanted one the la1a comps. But I think the empress or c76 is more than sufficient for me, and my wallet. Lol
