A little more than what it is now. Even at my church I had to take the pad off to get any solid volume out of the DI. Right now the TH is unity when disengaged.
Cool board. Do you use the Pork n Pickle more for OD or fuzz?
I ask because I tried out the YYZ and Pork n Pickle together and found their OD character pretty similar. Now, that may just be me and the way I liked to dial them in.
They're close. I'd use it for fuzz personally. I needed one and it's fairly decent. I stupidly rid myself of a TAFM years ago and I have regretted that everyday.
Very nice. You play passive Fenders? I'd like to get my hands on the H9 someday and compare to the HX One.
There is no "use it like it should be used" IMO. if it fulfills a purpose for you that something else can't, then it has a use.
I'm curious, with all that goodness…why do you want one?
For me personally, it was to avoid having a big, beautiful board like you do. I can switch sounds if I need to, without buying more pedals and be ~ 90% there. Part of me wishes ida just bought a bigger helix unit, like an LT that has a DI out and had everything and more in one unit than my current set up. Ida saved a lot of money!
Yes, my main bass is a dingwall super p though. Passive.
Honestly, the routing capability of the stomp with its size is on another level. Also some of the chorus sounds in there are just as good as the H9. I could replace most of my board with the stomp I just prefer the "analog" approach. The effects get 80% there for me and I'm left wanting more. Hence the current board.
I got on the pre-order list for the Asian Super P coming out in February!
Modulation and octave are where it really shines. Everything else is "good enough."

I'm pretty sure it's going to be a while before an Import Super J becomes a reality. Next year's release is just Super P's, IINM.

Very classy looking! I've never been much for white basses, but put that Gold Pickguard and Wenge fretboard on a J bass body and I could possibly be swayed.
In consideration of the syntax used I understood @yaksonator to mean Super P / Super J. But I see how it might be interpreted by others to mean Super PJ.
In my book a PJ is still a P... For me the essentials of a J bass lie in it's asymmetrical body, faster neck, and dual J pickups.
