Worship Bass Pedalboards

Has anyone tried the tone factor HX Stomp patches for bass? Adam Kiser, Tanner Erickson, and Matt Ogden all have a Microsynth patch in their rig downloads. Any idea of the differences in them? Is one better than the others? I have one from Adam Truitt but I have never owned a real BMS so I have no idea how any of them actually compare.

I believe I have the tanner erickson preset… I honestly haven't used it cuz I was underwhelmed in my initial impression.
I ended up not using the Truitt patch as a whole, but pulled the combination of pedals that made up the microsynth tone out to put into my own patches. It gets the job done for the few times I need it, just wondering if there was anything better out there in the Line6 universe.

I don't have experience with the presets from those people but I do have experience in building my own bms preset. Clearly it's not the real thing, the bms is it's own awesome gnarly unit.. if you split your preset path and use like the clawthorn with fuzz and Oct up engaged on path a, and basically any sub Oct block on path b then combine the 2, you'll get 85% there. You'll need a high cut for sure though. The stomp/line 6 will send every frequency imaginable down the path..

Years ago I was documenting my tone search and this is my hx stomp bms preset.
Edit: around the 3:25 mark.

So, the Helix has landed and the Noble model sounds pretty awesome.
Do any of you know whether the eq is boost only same as the actual unit or whether it is boost and cut with the mid point being 5 on both bass and treble
Pretty sure it's boost only. Someone in the Stomp thread posted eq

Also for those looking at the BMS, the SA C4 Synth is really good. There are some community user presets out there that emulate the BMS. Of course the C4 has LOADS of tweakability within the software as well.
This.

It does take a little tweaking, but the C4 has 4 voices (just like the BMS), a filter, distortion, and envelope sections (just like the BMS), with way more tweaking power, and the ability to save and recall presets.

Spot on. I also added chorus with the rate at 0 so essentially a slight detuned path which gave it the "big-ness"

If anyone is looking to part with an Aguilar Tone Hammer or an EHX Bass Micro Synth, please reach out to me via DM.

I have some nice trade options &/or cash set aside, and would rather deal with one of y'all than go the Reverb route.

Thanks!! :)

Tone Hammer is incoming.

With the talk of the Source Audio C4 this morning I suppose I should consider one of those again as well, so if anyone cares to part with one please DM me :)
