I should 3D print pedal retainers that'll click into a LEGO Brick pedalboard built by the kids.... That would be sweet!!
Our 9yo daughter overheard me mention 'lego brick pedalboard' to my wife earlier.... Apparently she liked the idea and went right to work on the R&D.
She just walked into my office to provide me with a progress report on her prototype

First time posting my board on this thread! I just added the compact bass, but other than that it has been my rig for the last bit. Simple but versatile. I am really happy with that compressor, it has really livened up my sound and tamed some of the frequencies that were bothering me. thanks all and God bless!
yea it is such a great multi tool if you want your pedalboard to be somewhat simple! It also replaced my old tuner!
The olympic has been paramount in me finding my own ampless sound, it is so versatile and perfect for my needs.

Having struggled with the octave tracking on the EHX micro synth I thought I would give the Stomp a go and am really pleased with the results.
For the Micro synth tone I have used the Clawthorn Drive (Fuzz and octave on, overdrive off) with a low pass at 5.5khz on a path B and the bass Octaver on Path A.
It gets pretty close and has no tracking issues whatsoever!
I am playing at 2 different churches on Sunday and am super excited about how it will sound!

That HX Octaver tracks really really well. Eager to hear how it goes. MikoFX has suggested the Octron3 pedal as a BMS alternative, I'm giving that a go.
And how about the Tonehammer emulation? Still not there or you just prefer to have knobs handy?
I've debated replacing my Radial Pro DI with something like the Genzler Magellan Preamp/DI, just in case I want quick access to a few things. And the Genzler DI is always good.
The Aguilar sims are pretty bad without major settings and EQ changes but I do think the Teemah drive block is similar to AGS on the tone hammer.
I think the amp sims are ok, but actually really like the tonehammer sim with the drive/gain turned down. One of my favorite presets has clean TH on 1, gained up on 2 (no extra drive block), and a BMS thing on 3!
I've never tried one… But it looks like it could at least free up and EQ Block on the stomp. I've thought about doing that with a compressor (cali76) so my sound would essentially be a cali76 and noble with the stomp in the middle for all the effects/modulation.
I've had that thought as well, but with an Empress and the Genzler. Just not in a position to go with a tube DI/pre right now, and I'm honestly not convinced for live gigs that it's worth it.
Not sure the Empress and Magellan would both fit with my stomp and Shure wireless on the Nano+. Might only be room for the Genzler.
Just spent an hour or so playing with the Octron 3 on my mid-sized board. It different yet definitely fills the same sonic space as the BMS.
Placed early in the signal chain before my drives the sub tracks well, but it gets a tiny bit glitchy when placed after them. I prefer it after my drives & compressor, so I'm running it with the sub knob entirely off and using the Broughton Subsonic to add the sub octave. It sounds absolutely massive with UP & DIRECT at Noon & both switches up. With the left switch down it's less brash and isn't as forward in the mix. I can see that working well for someone playing on a team that hasn't fully committed to the Bethel bass sound.
probly not… that combo wouldn't fit on my nano + for sure cuz mine is maxed out as it is. I don't want to have to carry a bigger board but if I'm gonna do it for a compressor then I might as well add a volume pedal too… see where this goes?! then I just wind up with going back to my original idea of getting a helix LT. but I don't wanna carry any of it!!!
