I was watching this one on Reverb, but they bumped the price up to $339 on Reverb. Looks like their own website has it for $279.
Unfortunately, this video makes me want to own both!
I was trying to do a trade for a DCX, but it didn't work out. But, I did manage to make another DCX happen. I'll post some info on how they do together after I spend some time with them.
the DCX sounded good, bought one when they first came out. If I go back to analog pedals, it and a cali76 will be insta-buys. Maybe 2 DCX… one always on and one for extra drive.
So, "Final" Board…. Cabzone X makes practice awesome and the cab sims act as a bit of compression/ limiting at the end of chain whether for amp play or In/ear only. The rest is probably self explanatory.
Basically, G&L p-bass with tapes is my tone. Enough can be done with the tone knob and pic/ fingers that it is very flexible as far as styles go. Add in some EQ from the Linden and all the other options provided by the other pedals and I'm pretty happy.

I've heard good things about the Linden. Also how do you like the Lil Fella? That is one I've been tempted by for awhile.
I really like it. I'm no connoisseur by TB standards but I think it's got its own sound. I can use it as a pretty heavy gated fuzz (that doesn't have to be as wild as say a Montreal Your and You're but can get close to the only pedal I may buy again- the Diabolik.). But I can get it to be pretty low gain too. For me- it's my favorite as a heavy OD- when I really want to cut through. AND- when I crank the bass on the Linden, kick on the Julia and make the Lil Fella kind of wild, can be very synthy.
Basically, wanted an everything Dirt and wanted it to look cool too.

Yes, I owned both at the same time. And I A/B'd them alone and after my hx stomp and honestly… Both sound really good. Different, but good. I played with the khan live for at least 100 gigs. The noble doesn't have near as much on it cuz I just got it within the last 2-3 months? I don't remember now. They're both good. I'd be happy to play through either one anytime anywhere.
The noble sounds more fendery, the khan sounds more ampegy. Both are super clean though, meaning neither will overdrive, so when you think about what I just typed… it's slight. It's all personal taste. I love the simplicity of the khan and I love noble sound too. In my brain, it's an unfair comparison because one is just a DI box and the other is a preamp with adjustments and a power supply if you want to use it.
So noble vs khan?! My answer is yes.
At this level, you simply can not go wrong. All good, just different. I guess I'd say, if you want a good warm, clean tube DI sound, go khan. If you want a good warm, clean tube amp sound, noble.
I say that lightly… but that's how me and several others felt when a/b'ing them through the PA. The khan seemed clearer, like you could hide nothing! The noble seemed more "forgiving"… if that makes sense? Theres no clear winner. I had to try the noble cuz I could… obviously the khan is easier to obtain and I was happy with it.
Edit* kinda like splitting hairs and picking the gray ones out, which I don't do well cuz I shave my head.
all in all… I just wanna go back to plugging into something and not using any effects and get less phone calls and ignorance really is bliss.

I went analog a couple months ago and I'm more than pleased about the change. After a little growth in the pedal count, and the discovery of just how much a little dirt can cut through, I had to go bigger. I also don't want this to become a multi-tiered, 16 pedal deal. I think this a good size and relevant pedals can be swapped without too much change. I'm not quite done with the wiring, but this is pretty close.

I have them both here. I agree with a lot of what you said--the Khan is less forgiving and more Ampeg-y. I am not familiar enough with the Fender amps, but I've owned an SVT, a V4 and a B15 over the years. That is the types of tones that I am used to--well, in tube amps anyway. I've gone to SS amps, when I use amps, which is rare. But, I find the Khan has a bit more of an 'amp feel' to it. It's closer to the sound of an amp. But, it needs something in front of it to really get it's full potential. I tried the Empress EQ with it, and it brings it to a whole new level. That combo definitely gives the Noble a run for the money.
yeah… I think it's really hard to quantify a lot of what I said.

I have the Cali76 set up with the Empress EQ and the Khan. I have a DCX on the way, so that may push it over the top.
I like the Empress bass comp with the Noble, but for some reason, I much prefer the Cali76 over the Empress comp with the Khan.
I'm also liking ODs better with the Cali than the Empress comp.

I tried a Khan earlier this year and honestly I had a hard time noticing any difference in my headphone solo A/B tests. I thought it was a super clean wonderful DI. You all may have better ears. Never tried a Noble.
I have a SushiBox Finally V2 on order. Does anybody think the SushiBox Finally competes with the Khan and Noble? I'm not looking for drive/OD from the Finally, just tube organic warmth.
I'm planning to pair the DCX Bass (treble/bass/saturation) with the Finally (tube DI), thinking it will be a better Noble, less cost, smaller footprint. I find the DCX sounds way better than the HX "Regal" Noble model......IMHO.

This is the most common complaint I hear about the Khan. The Sushi box has a little thickening via the transformer and if you run it pre out it's extremely colored. Kind of like an underground accelerator with a DI out.
It doesn't really relate 100%, and I've never tried the Sushibox stuff, but.....For me, the Noble was super easy to get a good sound out of. It sounds great with almost any EQ setting and with any bass. It's almost fool proof, and I'm a fool. Just plug, play and smile.
With the Khan, I am able to get some great sounds out of it, but it's taking some work to get something that I like as much as the Noble. They are different, and I'm fine with different. I just want good.
I think I can get the Khan to deliver the goods. But, there is some tweaking that I have to do with the EQ points and compression. And the Empress EQ is super powerful. A little goes a long way.
So, the more familiar with the Empress that I get and the more I adjust the compressor, the more I'm liking the Khan. Now, that isn't to say that you can't just plug and play with the Khan. I would imagine that I can show up and send them a straight signal off of it and it would sound great. But, this is all just minutiae whereby if I didn't have the Noble already, I would probably just use the Khan and not think about it. But, since I have both, it would take a lot for me to switch.

Same here. I'm glad you guys made the comment about the Kahn, hadn't heard that report as much. I have leaned more towards trying the Oracle because I like the features it packs in, along with a simpler but still powerful EQ.
I replaced my Khan with a Sushi Box Finally v1. It is close enough, can drive with a 12AX7 or AT7 tube, and is pedalboard friendly in size and power. Right now I am running a Helix LT but the Finally is living on my analog board with an Elementary.
Can the Oracle be powered with the Crux? That would be a check in the positive column. Well, if you have the DC7.
