Worship Bass Pedalboards

I got the Octron3 and its is also compelling alternative......
I got a pretty cool sound with fuzz/octave/chorus all together with QC. Sounded great this morning.
I don't mind soldering my patch cables. It gets a lot easier the more you make them. Matte Nickel SP400 square plugs are my favorite connector... and looks great on the pedalboard. In a way it makes the pedalboard feel lighter and clean since you can make them at custom lengths, so you don't have to manage excess cables.
Not using as a boost but more of a sheen or polish. To me it just adds this sweetness and clarity, plus it was just sitting on the shelf all alone and I had an open spot on the DC7 so why not lol
Well, I watched this and it was enough to convince me.
I just played Starlight at home and I think it sounded great
The settings I use are similar to the ones in my pic above. Quite a bit of square, octave down, a bit of sub and some octave up that is under control with the filter being low. I play essentially C and above where tracking is solid. Lower it feels like an earthquake.

I use EBS out of convenience most of the time, but the Square Plugs are my definitely my favorite as well.
The problem is that now that I'm not touring regularly I change my boards up all the time & soldering the custom length cables has less of an appeal when I'm swapping multiple pedals every few days.
Does anyone know if Aguilar is releasing an updated Tone Hammer DI? The current model is out of stock in a lot of places, including Sweetwater and Aguilar's website. And the fact that they just refreshed their lineup of amps may mean that the THDI is next. I'm optimistic about a new THDI that allows the output to be matched with AGS on or off.
Cable management and custom length cables are definitely not for those that change out pedals often... If you seen the bottom side of my pedalboard... haha... it's another thing that discourages me to buy new effects pedals... LOL...
I guest played somewhere this morning. The regular bassist said I could just bring my bass and use his rig - which turned out to be a tuner, phaser, and Tonehammer. I brought my board to rehearsal but space was tight so I just used his. While I have no plans to swap out my Super 800 Plus for a Tonehammer (once they show back up), I have to say it was awesomely easy to get the Tonehammer dialed in. I don't know what Dave's been playing but it clearly isn't a Greco Thunderbird based on his settings- yet it took me maybe 30 seconds (including walking out 20 feet to listen) to get dialed in. Excellent piece of kit.

If you need a starting point, check out "Luke Rice - Bass" patch if you can find it in the tone network for the QC. Was in the studio last week and tried it out on my buddies Quad, it was a great sound and had good usable tones for most stuff. FWIW Luke is Morgan Wallen's bass player.
I recently managed to receive a Capo from a fellow TB'er.
I auditioned the Capo out this afternoon — good stuff!
I think I'm going to use it similar to how @MikoFX uses it (Clean: off; Mild OD: A; More OD: B).
Anyways, I've got lots more thinking / experimenting to do (synth, Octave, Modulation effects) before this board is "baptized" at a worship service.
For those of you who have a Capo (or a similar pedal with loop options), what are you looping?
Since the Capo has a loop feature, I might as well take advantage of it!

This set up looks ridiculously similar to what I was running before I sold my LA-1A. Swap the Azure for a Fifth Gear, toss a SB More at the end of the chain, & add a DG Element and you'd be spot on.
The rolls was a game changer for me. I couldn't hear myself clearly enough (IEM's / silent stage). A few TB'ers commented on how they used the Rolls to control more of what they want to hear -- separate dials for mixing the bass and the overall mix. So much better now!
I'd still rather have an amp/cab on stage, but for me, this is the next best thing.
We use Rolls units at church. I don't use the "more me" of it as we have individual control over our IEM mix, but it's still a great "interface" for wired IEM and really affordable for all they can do.

Yeah, I was eyeballing your board and realized I had a lot of the same components. Seemed like a no-brainer to use your rig as a template and go from there.
Why reinvent the wheel completely when you can simply accessorize it? 
This board does sound amazing at low volume. Of course that means diddly-squat in a live venue or rehearsal situation.
Yeah, I like the LA-1A, but it does take up some real estate. I was thinking about putting a SB More on the end, but then I'd have to add a DI so the Finally fit the bill (I do like the SB More!)
Now I just have to carve out time in the coming weeks to experiment some more!

When I was running that setup it sounded amazing at volume in the mix.
Have you tried running the LA-1A with the boost switch on? I used that as my always-on setting to add a bit of tube saturation… it's super tasty!

FWIW, our each worship team member has individual control over Allen Heath units. Most of the time I was not satisfied with how my bass sounded (or cut through) after adjusting individual mixes as well the overall mix. The bass seemed to be floating in the background behind the stage somewhere.
