You do not need to start a secondary board. You can use TH as a standalone solution. That's what I do-I bring the Tone Hammer When I don't want to carry either of my pedalboards…

Man you guys...I cant stop looking at the Moog Sub 25. Have no idea how to use one of those things but good grief they sound so good. I may need an intervention

How do you like the ages? I'm considering getting one. If I remember correctly Apollo also liked it.

It's the most natural sounding dynamic responsive drive I've ever used and also a bit compressive which lends to the natural sound.

I also love the eq. The bass is pre gain and the treble is post gain wet only.

There is a baked in HPF at 80-100hz that can mostly be negated by boosting the bass. When running it in parallel fx loop it's not noticeable but it's why I keep looking at other options. (It's nowhere near as bad as Jhs drives)

The Ages is interesting and used prices are good. The clean blend seems to have no effect. It's a nice low gain drive tone. I was (and am) looking for a pedal replacement for the Tone Hammer AGS vibe. The Ages gets close.

I saw Tanner Erickson posted his board going into 2025. Also too bad those Lollar Fuzz Pedals are being flipped for $400 plus, but that is to be expected on such a limited drop I suppose. I've been meaning to try some Lollars in my Precision.

I'm sure it's nice but I'm very skeptical that it's very different or "better" than one of the bazillion Ram's Heads out there.

Oh I totally agree. That's why there is no way I'd pay secondary for one. I saw someone mentioned on reddit too that the pedal was adding like 24db boost with it engaged versus not haha. Tanner mentioned in his post that the Lollar gave him like "5% more clarity" I'd guess the db bump is the cause haha.

Hello! Looking for insights. So I'm currently building a micro board. Just a comp, preamp and a clean DI. Looking for feedback if anyone tried a Pinstripe LWDI or MISO. Keen to try and go this route instead of the radial or Canvas. Torn between the line isolator or just go with a passive DI with Pinstripe.

I'm using a passive Precision bass btw.

Here's what I plan to do. Will be mounted on a Pedaltrain PB-2 riser and daisy chain them.
