I love my Capo! Since I've started using it more and being intentional with what I want out of it, my desire for a Noble has diminished significantly - actually I haven't even really thought about a Noble in a while now.
This set is Crowns Down, You Keep Your Promises, Praise and Worthy of it All.Which songs is it? I rarely play synth but I may recommend more songs with it
I'd have to go back and look through our set lists, but House of the Lord, Gratitude, That's the Power, Make Room, Sinking Deep and So Will I are good ones for synth too.
Then there are songs that don't have synth on the recording, but I can sneak it in.
Crowns Down and You Keep Your Promises are synth heavy, although the parts aren't super exciting. Praise has some nice synth stuff, but I also have to cover the bass part. For Worthy of it All, we added some synth/E drums on the intro and first chorus. Then I switch to bass. But, there is a cool synth part under the bass.
The 18" board for this Sunday. It's Bryce Vaughn inspired with DCX core tone, drive pedal, BMS, and HX effects. I took off the Tone Hammer and added a Messenger Jr, which I am liking at the moment. I get to use the Bass Station synth on Feb 2 at my main big church.
By the way.... my Nashville bass mentor suggested Rotosound Swing Bass strings. And while I grew up with Chris Squire and Geddy Lee, somehow I have never tried the Rotosounds. Put them on my Fender Precision. They are pretty awesome and make all the pedals sound better. I'm getting that Dingwall piano-like tone with a 34" scale bass.
Right now I am pleasantly surprised. I have developed an affinity for fuzz as my next level drive effect. So, the DCX run with a good bit of saturation (cleanish with light fingers, driving with a pick) and the Calamity fuzz for heavier drive gets me some lovely tones and not missing the Tone Hammer (yet). A little EQ contouring with the Messenger, and the recent addition of Rotosound steels -- I'm getting some good stuff.

His latest video has the Kilt in the FX loop for some clean blend. Think he has both in the FX loop?
That looks killer. I am just running my Berg Super Pre this morning. I have a BMS inbound next week, so my big board will get retetrissed.
It's really great for just about any down intro or bridge with a really deep sine or triangle wave. It makes the quiet parts of songs fill big without getting in the way.Which songs is it? I rarely play synth but I may recommend more songs with it
Agreed, that's what I've been doing. Like in Worthy for example in the down bridge.

What brand is that dual latching footswitch you are using with your HXS that has the socket on the end?
**EDIT** Is it the pedalnetics compact side aux?

I've got a splitter cable coming in so I can run 2 FX loops on the HX Stomp. I want to play around with where I run the BMS and my LA-1A Compressor not only in relation to each other, but also where they are in my signal chain. Generally I think I want the LA-1A before the BMS, but I want to build a patch for long sustained synthy notes that will require having heavy Comp (in the HXS) before the BMS and in that case I will move the LA-1A to after it. It's taking a lot to get my older brain around the possibilities of the HXS with effects loops, parallel paths etc
