None of the songs called for a synthy part so I swapped my beloved Bit Commander for the Rat Bass. Really nice.
Those buttons are so hard to hit, I don't even use them. It's coming off my board and up for sale soon.
I'm loving the distortion and fuzz from the JHS Kilt V2. Will be using the HX Stomp for chorus, synth, and HPF mainly going forward.
Also, I'm still not convinced of the Stone Deaf Rise & Shine Octo Fuzz. It totally changes my sound to more of a heavy mid range high distortion/fuzz. And the octave is only octave up, not down. May keep it for now and try it in a couple other live situations. I can do similar functions with the HX Stomp so it is a question mark on my book now.
Ordered one. Could never get excited about the one that mounts on top. This one is perfect for my intended layout for my large board. Pretty expensive for what it is, especially when you convert to AUD, but ideal for the application.
I've noticed a lot of the recording worship bassists using the Schaffer replica bass x lately. There's really very little online about it. This is one of the only videos.

Btw I ended up with the Comodoro and really like it.
I got the low end tip from you about the Kilt. Both switches up really retains the low end. Sounds amazing in a live mix. I ran the Kilt and Octabass on my HX Stomp yesterday on the big choruses and got an almost a EH Bass MicroSynth sound. Not the same, but close.
I moved out of the Kilt in favor of the Broughton Calamity. But I did like that the Kilt offered a variety of driven tones and levels, not just fuzz. And the full-fuzz mode was really explosive and awesome. I just wish the volume jump when using the red button going to full-fuzz wasn't so drastic. How does that work for you?
Messenger/TH/DCX Update: I played two services yesterday, regular morning service and a special worship night at another church. I used the Messenger and DCX in the morning and while I liked this combo, I found the Messenger wasn't really needed and preferred the bass/treble controls on the DCX. The Messenger sounded really good in my home practice headphone mix, but out in the field it wasn't as needed. So..... for the evening service I went back to the Tone Hammer and DCX combo and was much happier. The Tone Hammer with a pick just gives a perfect drive tone and the DCX EQ is all I need.
The volume bump is the ONLY thing I don't like about it. Kind of like the AGS button on my Tone Hammer.
My BMS Synth arrived today, Literally in as new condition!! Going to be a steep learning curve. Assuming there are threads around the place where people share their setting for worship time sounds? Hopefully start integrating it onto my board later in the week.

Nice! I'm casually* in the market for another BMS myself. Lots of usable tones in that box. Bms has a built in gate. If you have a stomp I'd put it in one of the fx loops and blend to taste. The stop freq is the top end sizzle and the square wave is the fuzz.
