I really love my Tone Hammer into a Neve RNDI-M direct box.I'm torn between getting a used Tone Hammer V1 and a Bassrig Super Vintage. I've tried TH in the past and found it noisy but I want to love it. Bassrig is obviously much more expensive. And no, both isn't an option

Well, both are good sounding boxes. Aguilar sounds vs. ampeg sounds? That's a hard choice.
Is your Khan still listed? I'm still hunting for a nice pre and/or di. A Nashville pro I talk to swears by the FatBoy tube di. They are pricey. I had the Colour Box for a trial. They are now hugely on sale, pondering. I found an open box Fishtrick Minnow I'm looking at. That's good to hear. I just snagged a tone hammer outta the classifieds. I've played through them several times on house boards but never owned one. now I gotta assemble a board

Tone Hammer is a DI + drive with options to use as either in any part of your signal chain. The Bassrigs are an end of chain amp/cab sim. You could use it just as a drive but that's one really expensive drive pedal.
I love the 64 Bassrig as I'm not that into the SVT sound. It's in my never sell pedal pile. Pure magic with flats.
The Fender amp sim in the '64 Bassrig is special. Beautifully contoured EQ.
First Sunday with the anagram. Overall really good. Being able to loop a bass line and then walk out into the sanctuary to hear how everything is coming through and tweak and repeat (without having to reloop anything) is super useful because the drive I had picked from headphone practice was not a good fit for our PA.
The Subcitri octave is a really cool solo'd sub bass octave. I think it's from the kaamos and it's 100hz and lower only. Absolutely rattles the church like a moog.

Curious why the Origin devices continue to see service along side the Anagram?
Ha. Mostly because I'm an Origin fanboy and like having a couple things that can be adjusted on the fly without navigating a small touch screen.
I'm the only one who can tell a difference and it's minor at that.
Next week I'm going to try the Anagram into the Tone Hammer V1 on a nano board.
I love my THDI v1. I noticed that many guys have owned this box before, sold it, and then usually buy it again. I think I'm gonna hang onto mine forever.
I just purchased the Anagram last week. I have the THDI V1 at the end of my change right before my Sushi Box Neptunium. This combo sounds AMAZING!
With so much TH love, I thought I'd share a stupid user error learning moment. For many months I've dialed the mids back with AGS on, just like every CCM board user does. I had the mid frequency at 9'o'clock which seemed correct - just copying what I've seen on other boards. I've read that the AGS circuit changes the EQ somehow and "tightens the bass", whatever that means. To me I observed that the bass control did not sound all that pleasing anymore with AGS and mid freq at 9 and left the bass control alone at around noon. I chalked it up to the whole AGS vintage voicing thing.
After reading about the actual mid frequencies on the dial, I realized 9'o clock was around 380 hz and was in the range of the bass control contouring. So, I moved the mid frequency to noon, about 600 hz, and now the bass control responds normally again, and sounds good, sounds deep. Its no longer getting whacked by the low mid deep cut. This stupid lesson learned has vastly improved my TH experience.
