The down is like an OC-2 thing. The up is like an overdrive.Does it provide pure octave down (ad/or up) or only more of a synth sound?

It's funny. I sold my Noble after getting my Mantle. They are both great in their own ways, but I tend to dislike when gear sits around unused. I'll be interested to hear what you think once you have both in hand. After trying a bunch of fancy preamp/DI, this one is sticking around, at least until my Noble is ready in October.
Do you recall the brand and model?…powered 15" PA speaker angled up on the ground.
it was a 1000 watt class D EV model the worship leader said they recently got for around $500. Maybe this one on sale.Do you recall the brand and model?
Well this is talkbass...why not get both! Can't decide if I want the new Bass Muff or the Double Dragon![]()
I knew this would be the answerWell this is talkbass...why not get both!![]()
Looks awesome brother! I got my stand yesterday and got di box and case coming this weekend. Hopefully I'll get to use it next weekWe are doing a song "Forever YHWH" in 'E', and from listening to the bass isolated on MultiTracks... looks like I"ll be using the Moog Messenger sooner than I thought. Bassboard feels great with those sub-bass notes. Couldn't get those low notes on my 4 string P-Bass anyway.
I decided to use a mic stand for my iPad because it shook too much mounted on the stand. Also... it's easier to cable manage... which I'm anal about.
Oh BTW... for those that don't like Wall Wart power supplies... The Messenger works fine connected to a CIOKS power supply. Just remember to set it to 12v, and use the red connector cables... which is center positive.
My practice set up.... I'll be able to have a clean stage on Sunday with this setup.

Even if it was logically straight forward, mad sense, and obvious... I was still crossing my fingers when pushing the power button.
Well…I just joined the Mantle Club!
It arrives Tuesday. Will report back.Is it the best thing since sliced bread?
Awesome song and report. The Moog is addictive. Pictures please!Got to use the Messenger today for first time. Only used it on Jesus be the name. Gosh I love that song! I know I have some more things to dial in but i think it went well. I use bank 4 preset 8 which is just super subby bass and tweaked the filter to get a little grit going. Definitely some things rumbling in the building lol. No comments from congregation but drummer and guitar player came by to ask " what's this thing". I'm gonna enjoy this toy for sure
We have @NickyBass to blame for this Lightspeed trouble. It really is the best saturator I've heard so far. Pricey, side jacks, but lovely tone. Not much of a discount for used, either. Made in the USA. I'm still on the fence between the Morning Glory Clean and Lightspeed. The Lightspeed requires no clean blend so it's easier to dial in.I was leading today but the bass player forgot his board so he just plugged directly into a RNDI and it sounded fantastic. Punchy and clear. I was happy and sad about this all at same time
On a side note, @projectapollo has inspired me to look for a Lightspeed.
Yessir will get a pic of it all next week. But yall can be making fun of my stickers on the keys!! I'm no keyboard player by any stretch and I can only teach myself so much in a couple weeks. I'll get there tho lolAwesome song and report. The Moog is addictive. Pictures please!
