I use a chorus pedal for legato lines and those places where it is a bunch of whole notes...Sunday 2 of the 4 songs were almost entirely whole notes. From a bassplaying perspective (at least mine!) = BORING!

I'm going to add a chorus at some point for a quasi fretless kind of thing. And maybe for sustained whole note stuff.
As with others I tend to use it as an additional tonal colour. In particular I’ll use it for slower songs and songs with sustained notes. If I’ll be playing up around the 5-9th frets I find really useful to add some additional interest.
There’s a tone setting on my bass which, along with plucking over the neck, allows me to hint in the direction of a double bass type tone. I’ll often add a touch of chorus to that to enhance the effect. Once again only for certain, occasional songs.
In addition to the comments above, I will also combine it with a bit of overdrive and octave to get a quasi bass synth sound.

Mounted the power supply underneath today.added an octave that I received from a friend. Forgot to take a pic before I packed it up. I’ll do it at church tomorrow morning. We’ll see how much I use it. I may get more use from a chorus but we’ll see. I probably have room for one more...

How are you liking the Flux drive? Saw several vids with the Flux 5, Was pretty impressive, but I don't need the extra eq

It’s basically an echo/slap reverb, with a built in booster. I haven’t seen any bass videos with the Milkman, but take my word....it sounds very nice.

As far as the Flux Drive... it sounds basically like the Flux 5, but with a little less adjustability. I currently owned the Flux 5 AND said I would NEVER get rid of it, but I had a crazy plan for smaller pedals..... Here’s an older pic of my board with the Flux 5:

One change to my dirt pedals...VMT out and MBD-1 in...also moved my hpf underneath:
Still experimenting, but so far I prefer the AOm (for some high gain sizzle) in front of the MBD-1 (always on-OD)...probably letting my VMT go. Really, really like the MBD-1...easy to get many great tones, and it can get as t-h-i-c-k as you desire!

Coffee -> brain -> Fender Jazz -> Korg tuner -> Klon Centaur Clone -> Fuzzrocious Dark Driving -> Wampler Ego Compressor -> Ampeg Micro-CL (which is mic-ed and line-out to the house PA/subwoofer)
The Klon Clone was built by my guitarist friend that I played with back in high school and it pretty much always remains on. I love the mid-range boost it gives, lets the bass cut through without being obnoxious. The Dark Driving is a "dark" overdrive pedal that I use on louder rock songs. It can approach fuzz when turned to max. The compressor...compresses. Most important bit here is the coffee thermos to the right of the Pedaltrain Nano.
