McDonald's is disgusting.

Carl's Jr. has CRAP... except for a FEW items on their menu that are so amazing it's not funny.

Not to be foul, but do a google search for your local health dept or go and pick a list of local food violations. It's nasty.

Most commercial food establishments due to the amount of people they serve can't be as clean a "normal" home kitchen.

One thing I miss about Houston was there was this guy on the news that used to report all the health code violations of the local restaurants and the grand prize was the SLIME IN THE ICE MACHINE. Classic. Everytime I go into a fast food restaurant I still wonder if there is slime in the ice machine.

Well fast food wise my worst are: McDonalds, Burger King, & Taco Bell are all disgusting. My co-workers don't understand why I refuse to go to lunch with them, but they constantly eat this trash.

casual dining: Applebees, Chi Chis, Dennys, Furrs, and Ryans are all HORRIBLE.

i remember the on the borders in gainesville being pretty decent. their next-door-neighbor, though, was a bennigan's. and, uh... there's a reason why they're not around any more.

i haven't eaten at an arby's since moving to california, but the french dip is really good.

+1 I've eaten there 3 times during college. Got sick 2 of those times.

Applebee's blows, but I got stuck in a remote portion of Texas for three months one time and it was THE ONLY bar in town, so my opinion is a bit slanted.

Bennigan's...again, over exposure killed whatever chance they had.

I basically refuse to eat at your more common chains. There are a few smaller ones local to here that I'll eat at, but they are really only a step or two above their larger counterparts.

I really really don't like McD's, but Arby's gets my vote because the concept is good it is the execution that is horrible.

They all suck.

Here is what is good: Wendy's, Chik-Fil-A, Chipotle, SubWay and some other.

I also hate TGI Fridays. Gee, let's have a novel length menu but make sure all the food is strictly mediocre.

My Uncle loves buffets, so I'll get dragged there when we have lunch or dinner sometimes. Just had us go to Golden Corral while evacuated from Hurricane Gustav. Large quantities of mediocre food being consumed by lots of fat people. Now that is dining!

I like fast food, but I've got the waist line to prove it. Once i started taking my lunch to work instead of eating McDonald's i managed to drop a pant size [went from 42 to 40].

In the past few months, I can't stomach nearly the variety of fast food places that i used to. In the past, I could eat Popeye's, Panda Express, Long John's, and Taco Bell and feel fine afterwards. I was at the point where Panda Express would settle my stomach. Now? I eat one of those places and I'm popping Rolaids/Tums every few hours for at least the rest of the day.

My favorite fast food places are: Burger King and Quizno's. I only eat Burger King when i'm in Lafayette, so it's 3 times a year or less.
