crappy tuners..regardless of the cost of the bass.. the holes in the bridge are sometimes to small,makes replacing strings harder than it needs to be..

If horns went to the 10th fret, a lot more basses would be better balanced.
As much as I love Fenders, I think the fact that they all require a string tree to keep the string(s) from popping out of the nut to be a bit of a flaw. Not really a big deal though.

Yes, most fretted instruments suffer from this. The solution to this is pretty wild, though.

There is really no excuse for this problem <Neckdive> if some just paid attention during the design phase.
Kind of hard to play certain barre chords on that thing. I know MY fingers don't bend like that!
