worst stage names you've ever heard

Anything with the band's name incorporated, unless the band is named after you, like Van Halen. There was a band I knew in college called "The Craze" and the lead guitarist went by "Johnny Craze".

I had a singer once who was trying to go by "The Mouth." I often refered to him as "The Tooth" since he was missing a tooth.

There used to be local 80's metal coverband in my area and one of the guy's stage name was Marty. His real name was actually far more interesting (but it escapes me at the moment) and I couldn't help wonder why go through the bother of a stage name only to pick a completely ordinary name?

A: Steve

I knew a kid in school who went by Chigger. Like the bug...like a Flea...and he worshipped Flea. Played bass in the orchestra and pep bands. It would be a trip if he was on BF.

Singer: Bone-O
Guitar: Diablo
Drums: The Mad Hammer (actually kinda cool I thought)
Bass: Sgt. D (me, and I was a Sgt in the USMC and my last name starts with a D, so it wasn't really a stretch)

Never could figure out why the singer went with Bone-O. A redneck version of Bono of U2 I s'pose.
