worst stage names you've ever heard

Auditioned a female vocalist once going by the name Rusti Nail....some pipes like Janis Joplin but her visibly jealous boyfriend (who came along to the audition) put the hammer to the whole deal.

The singer's name in my band is Will, and we threaten to intro him as "Will Adcock" all the time. The keyboard player wanted to be called Peter Traxx. The guitar player does side stuff as Tench Frickler. I always liked that one.

Mine, which is Doc due to my PhD. It came from the lead guitarist of a band I joined 7 years ago. I asked him to not call me that because I like keeping work and music separate, but he got everyone else in the band doing it and it stuck.

My screen name comes from what I was called in my previous band, which is a play on the name of the bassist I replaced.

When I rejoined my old band a few months ago, I became Doc again. I gave up asking the band to not call me that, and even printed off a copy of Lucy's "The doctor is in" sign and taped it to my keyboard. They loved it.
