worst stage names you've ever heard

How about “Sting”

something to do with a black and yellow striped sweater he wore to an audition once, I think.

Enrico Latino, local one man band
Freddie Van Dango
Ric O’Shea

I’ve been given two neither of which I am particularly enamoured with.

“Flash” Too complicated and boring to explain, but doesn’t involve exposing myself, thankfully only one or two people remember that one, a recent one

“MILF Magnet”. With reference to the fact that four gigs in a row I got hit on by 4 different really drunk 40 something’s. Two of which got very R rated, on stage, mid set.

Let me tell you, it’s hard to play, be gyrated on and laugh at the same time. The singer has started to introduce me as such, she thinks it’s F***ing hilarious, Arghh. This one appears to have glue, unfortunately. :rollno:

Saw a old decrepid bus sitting in a field years ago that had the following painted on the sides....
The Red Eyed Boogie Band,
Featuring "Dirty Legs".
Had a painting of a gal who had dirty legs.
This was somewhere in the S.F. Bay area.

Butthole Surfers
The Tubes had members with dumb-ass names.
Prairie Prince, Fee Waybill, Quay Lude, etc.

I was asked to sing Happy Birthday to "Harry Mann"

I kind of laughed it off as "a good one... mr customer"

During the break, learned that it truly was his name and he was hyper sensitive about jokin it.

Egg on me.

I used to work in photofinishing. A customer left off a roll of film under the name Peter Dick. I was expecting it to be porn, it wasn't. I was ready to give him grief over dropping film of with a pseudonym like that. He paid by credit card and his name actually was Peter Dick. Makes you wonder what his parents were thinking way back then.
