I'll add another billion. Yeah, I've used XL's forever and want to experiment (who ain't searching for this 'holy grail' tone that really doesn't exist?)...but still, IMO, D'Addario is the classiest guy on the block.

I straight up despise EB strings, especially Slinkys. F Slinkys. Only strings I've ever broken repeatedly. Also found them quite toneless. Not a fan of boomers at all either.
Maybe it's me, but I never saw any advantage in this coating.
