I would try speaking with the band director in your local schools. With budgets being cut, they might know of a deserving set of hands (or perhaps their own). The fact that it is an unlined fretless means it is likely to go to someone playing jazz.
This is what I am doing.
All of my gear is willed to the local University Jazz Lab. Many winners. My only condition was that it stays in the Lab or on the grounds for production/presentation use. No road travel. In my mind I want it to last as long as possible for as many students as possible.
I think I found a home. Sounds like it will be used to help prep kids for HS jazz band so hopefully many kids will benefit instead of just one. Thanks all.
