Consider we are talking about the person that bought that bass. The nut didn't bother them! Why should a detail like how to spell the brand name of it?
Or maybe Squire is the Canadian/English spelling and you Yanks have had it wrong all these years...

Seriously, he did mention "throwing in" a practice amp - maybe that's his plan to get that much. Or, maybe he knows how CL works, and people are going to offer him 20% of his asking price. I effing HATE selling on CL.

To me it's a loaded Korean Squier P body, with machine heads, string retainer, neck plate and Samick amp included - $80 CAN is all I would pay.

He may just get it. New Squier CV's are retailing for $539 and VM's are $400 plus taxes (+++) in Canada. Throw in the amp and case, you never know.
